Touching Moment

I have to say that it was touching watching Venus trying to take a picture of her sister in the champion's ceremony. I'm sure she was genuinely happy for her sister, and it probably helped ease the sting of the loss a bit.

I actually felt a bit sorry for Serena when she won the match. You could tell that she really wanted to celebrate big time but held it in out of respect for her sister. I'm guessing her victorious feeling might have been even greater had she played someone other than Venus in the final.

I think this is probably the first time it's struck me how difficult it must be for the sisters to play each other, especially on such a big occasion.

Anyway, congrats to both, especially to Serena who held her nerve and proved the better player on this day. They are neither one my favorite players, but they are deserving of this great day because they are truly dominating the other players at the moment.

Yes Serena's proof of respect for Venus was tremendous, I also noticed that she wanted to jump, smile, cry, run, but she only didn't made that cause of Venus

Go Serena!!
