Seriouslly, people who are not fans of Venus and Serena say there match is $hit..

because they can;t root for anyone else. If they played someone elseyou know they would always bet against a williams sister, but when they play in the finanl they can;t do anything because they cant root for Serena coz they dont like her, they cant root for Venus coz they dont like her. IMO, this was a better final than the time where Venus defeated Lindsay at the Open. All in all they just say there matches suck because they can;t root for anyone else....

Venus ~ Serena ~ Nadal

That's the truth. All the "haters" are such transparent sad vegetables bitter that their player wasn't good enough to be in the final

I'm a young girl, an old WTAWorld member.

I will say this was their best match. but in overall grand slam finals it was nothing special it joins the league of Pierce-Martinez(RG 2000) ,Tauzait- Novotna(Wimbledon 1998) Hingis-Davenport(US Open 1998). The accomplishment was great but the match quality wasn't very good no offense to Mrs. Guga or daniel Forever because I like you all both a lot.

I don't agree, If Venus and Serena had different styles, the match woumld not have been considered boring. But their style is not nice to watch when they play against each other.

And like who really gives a crap!
Earth Wind and Fire ....
This World/Board can't shake me... the way I feel today!!!
CONGRATULATIONS SERENA
both ladies are really starting to loosen up re playing each other
Serena was a bit more because imho she really wanted it more.
Venus made her work for the win for sure...

Actually selefan1 it joins a much longer list ...if you want to go there what about majoli/Hingis RG 97, Hingis/Pierce AO 97, Lindsay/hingis AO, 2000 Hingis/Amelie AO '99...Hingis /Conchita AO'98, Capriati/Hingis AO 2001 .........and thats precisely the point no one complains when 2 players who aren't sisters (and therefore have no excuse) don't produce a scintilating GS final but expect 2 sisters to do that ...its ridiculous ....just the same old story of holding the williams sisters to a totally different standard than the other players and claiming its not about predujice ........for me after watching the sleep inducing Ferroro Safin match the williams sister match was excitement personified.
