Actually... I wish it were this :
Australian Open: Elena Dementieva d. Maria Sharapova
Roland Garros: Martina Hingis d. Nadia Petrova
Wimbledon: Mary Pierce d. Maria Sharapova
US Open: Mary Pierce d. Kim Clijsters
Mary can retire in peace, and so can Hingis

Hantuchova/Sugiyama def. (1) Black/Huber 6-7(0) 6-3 7-6(10) saving SEVEN match points, down 2-5 in the third, and down 2-6 in the third set tiebreak in three hours

Sorry, don't think that Sharapova will get to a French Open final in the near future. Just doesn't have it on clay. It's a little too early to say that she would beat JHH on rebound ace either. We need to see if she can beat her on decoturf first. But anyway, I think that the USO is the best bet for her. Even more so than Wimbledon.

really i think maria has a chance to go far at the french open marias been unlucky with draws in the past two years she got justine who is unbeatable on clay almost and then she should have beaten safina but choked whether it was down to lack of match practice and confidnece injury or whatever shell never make that mistake. also when maria wasnt even sure if she was going to the aussie open this year she took justine to 3 very close sets and justine got the break on a bad line call in fact she got two in the last set that were crucial, so if maria goes into a tournie with match practice and uninjured unlike this years ussie open if she plays her best sure she can beat justine.
