Isn't that the same exact thing she did against Martina?

Does this girl have a history of doing this?

I am patient, but do not push, for it is silently one night I will wake, and you will find me gone come morning.

Maybe her father wants her to He was, as the ESPN commentators were saying, adamantly demanding that she continue the match against Martina last week even when she was injured, so I wouldn't be surprised if he pressured her into playing this week too.

He slightly scares me. I hope this isn't true.

Anna strained her right forearm the day before her match against Martina which made it painful for her to serve and hit forehands. The physios at Montreal said it would take 4-5 days to heal. She should not have played New Haven.

However, she was defending semi-final points here and possibly also didn't want to incur a monetary fine by withdrawing. Still it was a strange time to retire in the match - I'd like to see a report from someone who actually saw it to find out exactly what happened.

unless it was a serious injury that could turn into something awful she should have at least played the last game. It kind of takes away from Voskoboeva's win when she retires @ such a late point. Oh well, hope she is well for the USO.

So if her father is forcing her to play, I can see why she refused on-court coaching.

Should she have more haters? She retired when she was losing!

Exactly she retired when she was losing 5:6 in the second set...she could of just hit the ball back and let the girl have a real win. You dont push yourself that far into the match to at the last minute realize you shouldn't keep going because your hurt. SERISOULY.
