A coach can teach a player to have patience but only when the player has the fitness to believe they can do it themselves.
ALG doesn't have that belief or fitness.
She plays a reckless game and she is acknowledging that by playing a schedule that shows not much belief in her gamestyle.
She needs more patience but that will only happen when she believes she's fit enough to do it. I don't think she's fit enough and neither does she.
I don't see a problem with playing doubles and getting a better feel at net until that belief comes in singles (since she loses pretty early in tournis these days).
