too close for me...but at least she won in straights, unlike Kim last week. Maria now leads Vera 3-2, thank god.

Sharapova is developing a nasty habit of wasting leads in matches. She led 4-0 in the 2nd if i'm not mistaken. She also almost let it go against Dementieva at Wimbledon, did let it go against Safina at Roland Garros and wasted a huge lead over Golovin in Miami before she retired.

she needs to watch that

yeah she gave me a fright from being 5-1 down to 5-4 and serving for it i though oh god this is deja vu with another russian but i knew masha would learn from her mistakes! she won the game to love! thats the masha i love and support! vamos masha!

Her serve needs to become more of a weapon in tight situations. That's what she used to do really well in 04 and early 05, before the Serena losing match pts thing. I feel like now, her serve isn't as clutch as before. She'll need to get it back, asap.
