Who will advance easiest tonite, Hingis, Patty, Pierce or Sharapova?

Flavia Pennetta vs Martina Hingis

Patty Schnyder vs Paola Suarez

Mary Pierce vs Emma Laine

Vera Zvonareva vs Maria Sharapova

Who here do you think will advance the easiest tonite? ive gotta say Hingis myself. I think she will advance in straight sets, say 6-2 6-2.

Who do you think?

I'm going to say Mary, after a very tough first round test I think Mary will be able to close this match out easily in straight sets.

I wouldn't be so sure that those four players you have listed will all get through
But if so than I think the easiest match will have Pierce - Laine shouldn't be a problem for her. Schnyder will probably have a tough match against Suarez, Sharapova-Zvonareva - the winner isn't obvious and the match Hingis - Penetta - not an easy win for Martina IMO.

Sharapova is playing the best, followed by Hingis, followed by Schnyder followed by Pierce (by a lot.) However, Sharapova has the best opponent, followed by Hingis, followed by Schnyder, followed by Pierce (by a lot.) I think Hingis will manage a routine victory, losing between 5 and 7 games. Pierce is liable to lose a set, and Schnyder and Sharapova might not even advance.

I think Patty or Pierce will have the easiest route.
Suarez is a good player but she has no weapons to beat Patty.
The same with Laine and Pierce.
Flavia is hitting the ball as good as I've seen her her entire career.
Her game is starting to make that real transition to the hard courts (her favorite surface according to her wta profile).
Vera is the type of player that can give Sharapova serious issues.

"Everybody always said I didn't get that job because my wife is white. If you're not strong enough to look through that then you have the issue."

I think that Sharapova and Hingis will struggle to actually win tonight. Although Pierce has on paper the easiest match, Emma has a nack of getting balls back in play so she may frustate Mary. Patty will sail through, although I'm glad to see Paola back and playing well
