H2H for matches played > 2 years ago should be discounted in any intelligent discussion. Unless it's within the last 2 years H2H is totally meaningless.

yeah, but a lot of their matches have been rather close too.
2001 USO for instance.

Lindsay owns: (including those who are now retired)
Mauresmo 11-3
Capriati 9-3
Coetzer 13-3
Dementieva 10-5 (though they have had a lot of close ones)
Dechy 8-0
Dokic 9-0
Frazier 10-0
Petrova 7-0
Seles 10-3
Sugiyama 10-1
Zvonareva 5-0
(there are some more lol)

yep, but justine has owned kim for the past three or four years so, i don't think it would change much for that "rivalry."

feel free to start you own thread though.

yeah, which is why i was focusing on top players. not sure that dechy, coetzer, frazier would be considered top players in comparison to the likes of top ten or slam holders.

Excuse me, in your orginal post you referred to Zvonareva, Schnyder and Sugiyama.

If Coetzer isn't (wasn't) a top player, then those three sure as hell aren't. Coetzer was top 5 at one stage and reached multiple GS semifinals which none of those players achieved. She also won at tier 1 level, which only Patty has done. She spent large amounts of time in the top 10 between 1997 and 2001 and was a top 20 player for 10 straight seasons. Her career towers over the likes of Zvonareva, Schnyder and Sugiyama and is even better than Petrova's at this stage of the game.
