Gracious speeches from Justine and Amelie

Justine was so gracious in defeat.

When you believe, somehow you will. You will, when you believe.

Your mind will take you far. The rest is just pure heart. Youíll find your fate is all your own creation.

Thereís so much strength in all of us, every woman, child, and man.
Itís the moment that you think you canít - youíll discover that you CAN.

Probably the best I have heard from her. She was very positive and optimistic, even in defeat.

They're both great and deserve to be congratulated.

Its tough not to be proud of Amelie today. She really overcame the mental demons and deserved this title.

Justine was very gracious, she also shook her head when Amelie said she might have been tired. Its like she didn't want an excuse for losing.

She said that Amelie won because she just played better than her, and that she'll be back next year, she also thanked her entourage as well as all of her fans. Amelie tried to make an excuse for JHH as to why she lost (from playing too much), but Justine just shook her head, because she didn't want an excuse for why she lost. Gracious speeches from both!

Very nice from both of them. Justine essentially said she's had a great run at Wimbledon, she's happy with a final, and that as hard as she tried, Amelie took her opportunities, and was too good.

And Amelie said now people could stop talking about her nerves
