Let's get some perspective on these 4 teen prodigies

Let's compare these 4 teen champions at age 18 -=== WHO WAS BETTER AT 18?????

Here it is from oldest to youngest folks...

Does this mean that perhaps Martina Hingis was the most insane teen prodigy of all time?

Does this mean that perhaps Maria Sharapova has a ways to go before fulfilling her potential???

Was Venus a late bloomer????

Yes Venus and Serena had limited success b/c they didn't play on the junior curcuit and they were not playing full years. If they played more tennis when they were youngerr they would have different careers b/c they would have come into their own earlier.

Interesting, but for it to be fully correct you should have included the whole 18th year.

If you look at Sharapova she ended the year 18 plus 8M while Hingis ended it 18 plus only 3M, so it's not equal, because I'm sure Hingis won more titles in the next 5M. They are not being compared within the same time period

Petra Kvitova | Sam Stosur | Angelique Kerber | Alizé Cornet | Andrea Petkovic | Michelle Larcher de Brito | Heather Watson | Na Li

Justine Henin | Kim Clijsters | Elena Dementieva | Martina Hingis
