Kanepi to make grasscourt debut

Kaia she has never played on grass...EVER! She's got the game for grass and plays Martina Muller good chance to make the 2nd Round. Interesting though she has never atempted Wimby qualies

Samantha Stosur: US Open Champion 2011

Cornet // Diyas // Jankovic // Dellacqua // Pironkova // Halep // Hingis
Dulgheru // Gajdosova// Kanepi // Cetkovska // Svitolina // Niculescu // Errani

she hasn't really got a grass game with that big topspin forehand.

Yey. Go Estonia. I prefer Maret Ani myself but whatever.

i havent' seen her play much at all, very little actually but the few shots i've seen of her she did hit the ball pretty hard, i thought it was surprising she's taken so long to move up the ranks despite all the injury woe's she's had. i haven't seen her enough to say how she'd go on grass but with her groundies even if she has big topspin on her forehand, from the little i've seen her groundies are very penetrating and would be more so on grass. probably not the best mover though, when i saw her she was a bit of a big girl, doesn't help on grass. but if she gets the big serve and groundies going she's got a good chance in the first match.

Go the aussies! stosur!!!
and good luck russians: dementieva, safina, kirilenko, sharapova, kuznetsova, bovina, zvonareva, dushevina.

also good luck to: azarenka, lucic, sprem, vakulenko, vaidisova, safarova, ivanovic, groenefeld, mirza, krajicek, kvitkova, larcher de brito, lisicki.

Kaia should beat Muller. She has a game that can be good on all surfaces with big groundies and a big serve. She does have a big topsin forehand but she can flatten it out so it could work well. She has too much power for Muller on grass.
