Why did Likhovtseva never return to Black?

Elena played with Kuznetsova because of the Olympics. Why didn't she play with Black again afterwards? Did they split up in anger?

These days Elena plays with Zvonareva or Myskina. She could play with Daisy Duck then as well. What do Zvonareva and Myskina know about playing doubles...

Elena deserves a good and solid partner as she is such a good doubles player...

At these people^.

In all seriousness, *shrug*. In any case, I think Black/Likhovtseva would trump Blubbs and Likhovtareva or Likhovtskina. It's too bad.

Hantuchova/Sugiyama def. (1) Black/Huber 6-7(0) 6-3 7-6(10) saving SEVEN match points, down 2-5 in the third, and down 2-6 in the third set tiebreak in three hours

Ai Sugiyama. Jie Zheng. Zi Yan. Tamira Paszek.
Yaroslava Shvedova. Nuria&MariaJose. Yung-Jan Chan. Elena Vesnina. Flavia Pennetta.

i really think Black made a mistake teaming with Stubbs its so obvious that she is past her time she cant win with anyone.

Black needs to go back to Likhotseva or Huber who she had good results with

doubles is more than just success and results. it's alot about the feel on court, together.
the last time we had a double that really enjoyed each other and completed each other was Kuznetsova's doubling with the old girls, especcially ASV.

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.

Stosur and Raymond seem pretty comfortable together, as well as Ruano-Pascual and Suarez...

Or why doesn't Cara beg on her hands and knees to pair up with Elena again?

Seriously, despite being number 1, Cara and Rennae have been disappointing of late. And Rennae is a loose cannon

Agreed. I think it's time Black and Stubbs split. They are both accomplished players who have had much greater success with other partners.

I think Black should go back to Huber.

Kuzneysova and NAvratilova were a fantastic team. 7 titles in 2004.

they got to the finals at the us open in 2000 and played together always making the season ending championships but they were never threats at majors
I think it was wise of them to split

cara won two majors and elena got to three finals
