Birmingham Who will win? A.Molik vs V.Zvonareva

I sure hope Alicia wins. Reaching the 3rd round at RG shows that she has form on her side and of course, she will do much better on her favourite surface. I just know she's been working her butt off since RG, so she should be in her physical prime by now

Vera has really struggled of late and it's hard to see her winning any match, let alone against Alicia

Daniela Hantuchova.

Casey Dellacqua, Jelena Jankovic, Anna-Lena Groenefeld,
Jelena Dokic, Mirjana Lucic, Sara Tomic, Sloane Stephens
Jarmila Gajdosova, Melanie Oudin, Kaia Kanepi, Alison Riske

alicias rg form, plus the faster surface should get her through in 3 sets. veras form won't help her either

Id like Alicia to win but I don’t think she will. She did get to the 3rd round but the two opponents she beat were average players who really pushed Alicia. Vera is a class above them.

Its just a stepping stone in the comeback, as is Wimbledon. We should more be hoping Alicia is back to her old form come August/Spetember/October.

tough call, alicia is only recently back but her game suits grass, vera although struggling for a long time has reached the 4th round at wimbledon so she can defeinately compete on this surface. i think vera has the edge being more match fit.

Go the aussies! stosur!!!
and good luck russians: dementieva, safina, kirilenko, sharapova, kuznetsova, bovina, zvonareva, dushevina.

also good luck to: azarenka, lucic, sprem, vakulenko, vaidisova, safarova, ivanovic, groenefeld, mirza, krajicek, kvitkova, larcher de brito, lisicki.
