The best match at RG 2006

I think it has to be Sharapova vs Washington for me. I so wanted Mashona to win and she played so well but Maria won. Exciting though.

Vote!

I haven't managed to see many matches from this year's Roland Garros, but I did see Mashona vs. Sharapova and it was a pretty intense clash, with Mashona sadly squandering a pair of really precious opportunities.

Another match I've really liked has been Kim vs. Martina, for the quality of play has been pretty high, at least for most of the first set, and that's something I've been missing on the tour recently.

Masha v Washington it was an awesome match of high quality tennis and both women fought so hard and had terrific rallies. Both looked great in their outfits too.

Sharapova vs Washington was the best match
Great fight from both and a lucky victory from Maria

How about Safina-Sharapova

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

Mashona/Maria win this easily Everything you could possibly want from a tennis match was there, including massive birds landing on the court on Mashona's match point

Maria v Washington without a doubt, it was so good and Mashona winning would have made it a really great upset in such a good match

How Mauresmo-Dushevina even managed to get in this poll? Have you seen this match? Have you seen the comments on this board about this match?
Both players played horribly, how this can possibly make it in this poll?

Hantuchova vs. Dechy. Dani blew so many big leads but kept her cool and finished it out at 10-8. I was so proud of her

Yes I have seen the match, and while it was crap tennis, the atmosphere and tension made it quite good to watch.

And I put 1 1st Round, 1 2nd Round, 1 3rd Round, 2 4th Rounds, 2 QF's, 1 SF and the final to balance it out.

If you don't agree with it, just don't vote instead of bitching

Sharapova v Safina. But I clicked the wrong button and voted for Vaidisova vs Williams
