ASV ..... in doubles i have no doubts she will be the next superstar in the next 10 yrs or so , she's got something you can't teach , " great magic hands"

in singles . you have to watch her play on grass which is her best surface and she is amazing

a pity she had to miss the grass court season this year cos of exams but she did come and defend successfully the $25K Felixstowe Challenger (GBR) on Grass courts (July )

She's a net rusher with great hand/eye co-ordination.

Good luck in 2015 to my favsKIRILENKO**Zvonareva*Kuznetsova*Sharapova*Kleybanova*Vesnina*Shvedova

In doubles maybe. She just has those soft hands. She is definitely very talented, but she needs to have consistent grounstrokes these days to compete with the ladies in singles.

Good Luck In 2005:
[Martina Hingis] [Justine Henin-Hardenne]
[Cara Black] [Nadia Petrova] [Eugenia Linetskaya] [Patty Schnyder]
[Svetlana Kuznetsova] [Ai Sugiyama] [Su-Wei Hsieh] [Gisela Dulko]

[Maja Matezvic] [Karolina Sprem] [Eleni Daniilidou] [Maria Kirilenko] [Jelena Jankovic]
[Tathiana Garbin] [Timea Bacsinszky] [Kaia Kanepi] [Na Li] [Vera Douchevina]

I believe you can't make those kind of assumptions regarding a player that isn't even in the top 100.

You first have to ask if a player can be a potential top 30 or top 20 player, and then, when she does get there, you can start to assess if she can be # 1.

Being # 1 is not that easy, only 9 players since the computers rankings exist have achieved that, so, by no means you can ask this question now.

You can ask if R. Vinci will be good, if she has potential, but # 1?

I saw her in person at the Canadian Open, and she did impress me, she serves and volleys (but she is not a serve and volleyers alla Novotna), she has a good technique and I believe she can be good, specially on grass or indoors, but I don't see potential to be # 1, I might be wrong because as I said before, it's impossible to even think of that at this stage of her career.

You can ask if Justine Henin, Kim Clijsters, Venus Williams or Serena Williams can be # 1, but you can't ask that question about a player currently ranked 170, as I said before, I do like her game and I think she has potential, but to ask if she can be # 1 would be the same as asking if a 10 years boy that wins an election in school can be president.

Fingon ..... ASV meant in doubles not singles

Her singles has progressed this year , she's lost a bit of weight and is getting more confident.

Before this year she had only played only a handful of tourns over the past 2 years.

Cinq .... is Roberta

No. You are wrong. Vinci will get there.

You have to answer for Santino, Carlo.
