Installing 15,000 seats will turn it into a baseball stadium. Corporate seats will be on the lower tiers and the genuine fans will be in the upper tiers needing binoculars to watch the action. It is going to be an "Arthur Ashe" type court and mark my words there will be screams of anguish when fans take their seats and see the players like ants on the court below. People who have sat in the upper level of the Arthur Ashe court at the US Open will know what I mean.

Furthermore, indoor clay court tennis does not work. Davis Cup and Fed Cup ties played indoors on clay has resulted in a very uneven playing service.

Thirdly,I bet this will be the start of night matches at Roland Garros. It will be good for the television viewer but for tennis fans like myself who travel to Roland Garros it will make a trip to the French Open much more expensive as there will be separate ticketing for day and night matches.

These innovations are bad for the true tennis fan.
