Arrow The lowest ranked player your FAVOURITE lost to ...

I think it's Jelena Dokic (ranked then #129) beating my sweet Martina at Wimbledon in 1999.
But I'm not quite sure if she was the lowest ranked.

Martina Hingis & Sania Mirza

"Santina"

2015 Doubles titles: 10 - Brisbane, Indian Wells, Miami, Charleston, Wimbledon, US Open, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Beijing, Singapore
2016 Doubles titles: Brisbane, Sydney, AO, St. Petersburg, Rome

The lowest-ranked player Lindsay Davenport ever lost to was at the 1992 Houston event when a then 228-ranked Lindsay lost to a then 537-ranked Iva Majoli in the first round.

I believe that is the last time Lindsay ever lost to a player ranked outside the top-100. I know she lost to Chanda Rubin early in her career (but Linds was a top 50 player by then) when Rubin was ranked 94.

But that is the lowest I think since Linds' loss to Majoli.

What about Claudine Schaul? I think she was ranked outside the top 100 when she beat Linds in Strassbourg

No she was ranked 63 at time she beat Lindsay in Strassbourg. Lindsay was in the top 5 at the time and rarely lost to players outside the top 20 little lone the top 50.

The irony is Claudine eventually fell out of the top 100 after that match.
