Sunday's Roland Garros WTA Predictions!

For the first time Roland Garros starts play on the Sunday.

Three courts - Six Women's Single Matches.

Predict the outcome!

Dinara Safina beats Vera Zvonareva 6-4 6-2
Dinara is on fire and is coming into Roland Garros having beaten three Top10 players on clay. Tough that Vera has to face someone of Safina's calibre so early, but I think Vera will leave Roland Garros after a two-set loss to her Russian counterpart.

Amelie Mauresmo (1) beats Meghann Shaughnessy 7-5 6-1
Shaughnessy has the confidence having won Rabat the other week; but wont be a match for Amelie.

Marion Bartoli (25) beats Aurilie Vedy 6-2 6-1
Marion, if she remains injury-free should have no problem beating her French compatriot.

Maria Sharapova beats Mashona Washington 7-5 6-3
Maria hasn't played on clay this year at all, she will be rusty but able to beat Mashona.

Eleni Daniilidou beats Ai Sugiyama (22) 6-2 7-5
First seed to go down I think. Ai will lose in two sets.

Iveta Benesova beats Pauline Parmentier 3-6 6-3 6-4
The only match I think will go to three sets, with Iveta just edging it and taking her place in R2.

Dinara bts Vera 4-6 6-0 6-3

Amelie bts Meghann 6-1 7-5

Marion bt Aurilie 6-1 6-1

Mashona bts Maria 0-6 6-4 7-5 ( ok, unlikely to happen considering how poop Mashona has been lately but at least she has beaten Maria in the past, not entirely impossible for her to pull off a major upset )

Ai bts Eleni 6-4 7-6 (2)

Iveta bt Pauline 7-5 6-4

ok, can someone tell me please when Venus will be playing I see some of her half of draw are playing tomorrow but does this mean she will be playing on Monday then, or Tuesday
