Vee's draw is as good as possible reallybut we saw last yr even if vee has a favourable draw she gets a tad complacent but i dn think she will do that this time, has a great shot at final, plus btm halfis really interesting lots of potential match ups like hingis - lenaD and henin - petrova poor lena has such a tough draw but she is well capable me thinks

Grassonkova.

Martina is gonna have to play with a lot of confidence and take more risks to get through her draw, should be interesting.

The next big thing: Voegele

My opinions:

1ST QUARTER:
Amelie should have no problems getting to the quarter final; although Meghann might be stubborn in 1R, as will Nicole in 4R (should she get through)
Venus should sail through to the QF and will probably meet Patty, who she will beat again, like in Rome.

I think if Venus makes it through (which is more than likely) - she will beat Amelie in the QFs.

SECOND QUARTER
I am thinking there will be a major upset as Dinara takes out Sharapova in the Round of 16; that's if Safarova doesnt beat her before hand. It's hard to see Kuznetsova not coming through to meet a potential Safina in the QF - the result will probably be Kuznetsova making the SF, but Dinara did beat her in Rome.

THIRD QUARTER:
Really interesting. The two best claycourt players of the tour right now should meet in the QFs. Nadia should make it easily as should Justine. I am hoping Nadia has the courage and strength to make it to the SF.

FOURTH QUARTER:
Kim's potential route to the QF is tricky as there are claycourt specialists in her way. She is not really on form on clay, so she may not make it. But hopefully she can get it together to meet Martina in the QF (I think Martina will take out Dementieva sadly). Then I can see Martina making it over Kim as her claycourt form is better at the moment.

So I think Venus, Kuznetsova, Nadia and Martina will be the SFs!

Nadia or Justine is knocked out in the quarters, which should be good for Sharapova's ranking.

Mauresmo's draw is too easy.
The bottom half and especially the 3rd quarter are way too crowded
