Petrova's Recent Results

Do Petrova's recent results now make her the best player yet to collect a slam? or does Dementieva still hold that title? Or someone else?

Me I think Petrova's results warrant her the best player without a slam now, however I beleive that judging from their gameplay Dementieva is the best player without a slam.

I'd go with Elena too. Her game is much more impressive than Petrova's.

Daniela Hantuchova.

Casey Dellacqua, Jelena Jankovic, Anna-Lena Groenefeld,
Jelena Dokic, Mirjana Lucic, Sara Tomic, Sloane Stephens
Melanie Oudin, Kaia Kanepi, Alison Riske

Lena definatley, she has achieved so much more and will be remember for so much more, even with a horrible serve she got to 2 slam finals in the same year only ever achieved by 1 other russian woman and she was the first russian to win an olympic medal, despite petrova having 2 tier 1s lena has been in more tier 1 finals than petrova and more finals in general, its definatley lea

Grassonkova.

Lena for sure at the moment.. Petrova had been playing well only lately so if she doesnt win a slam this season and she can continue this kind of top form, i would say its her but French is not here yet so we shall see..

Lena has done better at the majors.
But Nadia did what Justine did last year.
What Kim did last summer.
Nadia is the best player going into this major.
We will see what happens.
