WHY HASNT VENUS OR SERENA BEEN ON OPRAH!!!

I have been sending letters and emails to oprah to have venus and serena on her show! whats the deal? They have done so much and have never been on there! She had that tiger woods guy on, why not the williams sisters. I wonder what the deal is, is it mutual? Do they just not want to be on Oprah?

Anyone know whats up?

Cy,
Venus has indeed been on Oprah. In fact, she was on about six years ago with other childhood sensations. Ironically, Tiger Woods was on the show as well.

Maybe there's a phone number or something somewhere on that site... I didn't look around too much.

You're correct clocker, but that was before she became the star she is today.

Cy, I thought for sure Oprah would have had the Williams sisters on there after the historical US Open final, but ly, she has not. And she had Tiger on there after he won a major (forgot what it was) last year. Tiger has been on there several times, as a matter of fact. I emailed the show about a month after the Open and asked what was up with that! I got no response.

I'm not an Oprah-holic, but I don't ever remember seeing any tennis player there. Not even Chris, Martina I, or anybody like that.

LOL@ Irma!
It would seem that Oprah would have two of the most popular athletes in the world on as she did a one man show on Tiger and his dad.

Who knows, maybe she doesn't like folks from Compton.

I could be that there is no WTA Tournament near Chicago (Where Oprah tapes her show). When the Williams Sister's were on the Tonight Shoe, they were playing a tournament that was in Los Angeles.
It would be nice for Oprah to do a Williams Family Show. Just wait for Venus and Serena to win more Grand Slams and get the Number 1 and 2 rankings.

With respect, cybell, there are many notable, inspirational celebrities like Venus & Serena, black or otherwise, who have yet to appear on Oprah's show. Don't get me wrong; I'd love to see them on there but there's no obligation on Oprah's or the Williams' part to have them on/be on the show.

I think that show is fake. I like Oprah and her role in Color Purple, but the "Oprah" show and just the people on it makes me cringe.

Venus & Serena would do better not to be on it anyway.

Oprah always has people like Julia Roberts, Tiger Woods and all her close friends on it. Eck..
