www.wtaworld.com/showthread.php?t=176439

I was gonna wait until Monday, but I'll do them now

1. Amelie Mauresmo
2. Justine Henin-Hardenne
3. Nadia Petrova
4. Maria Sharapova
5. Svetlana Kuznetsova
6. Elena Dementieva
7. Martina Hingis
8. Kim Clijsters

9. Patty Schnyder
10. Francesca Schiavone
11. Anna-Lena Groenefeld
12. Dinara Safina

13. Anastasia Myskina
14. Flavia Pennetta
15. Daniela Hantuchova
16. Maria Kirilenko
17. Ana Ivanovic
18. Tatiana Golovin
19. Lindsay Davenport
20. Lucie Safarova
21. Marion Bartoli
22. Nicole Vaidisova
23. Sofia Arvidsson
24. Ai Sugiyama
25. Anabel Medina Garrigues
26. Anna Chakvetadze
27. Elena Likhovtseva
28. Katarina Srebotnik
29. Mary Pierce
30. Klara Koukalova
31. Nathalie Dechy
32. Venus Williams

There would be so many interesting match-ups with this ranking system!

It's an interesting idea, but Hantuchova above Lindsay?

I know there are a few kinks in it, but Lindsay needs to play more often. It's so disappointing whe nshe's not playing

Do seedings only based on the Race? Yeah, that's a great idea. :retard:

I would do to seedings based primarily on the rankings and bump people up based on clay court performance leading up to the French and previous acheivement in the French. This probably wouldn't change the women's seedings much, but the men's would. At this point with Berlin not over and Rome yet to be played, I'd go with:

1. Mauresmo
2. Clijsters
3. Petrova
4. Henin-Hardenne
5. Sharapova
6. Pierce (if she plays)
7. Dementieva
8. Kuznetsova
9. Davenport
10. Schnyder
11. Schiavone
12. Williams
13. Myskina
14. Groenefeld
15. Hantuchova
16. Hingis
17. Vaidisova
18. Likhovtseva
19. Pennetta
20. Safina
21. Ivanovic
22. Dechy
23. Kirilenko
24. Sugiyama
25. Medina Garrigues
26. Golovin
27. Chakvetadze
28. Bartoli
29. Srebotnik
30. Arvidsson
31. Safarova
32. Koukalova

Depending on what goes on in Berlin and Rome, Sharapova may fight for a top 4 spot, Hingis may go higher, etc.

Tatiana Golovin, Timea Bacsinzky, Petra Kvitova, Kristina Mladenovic, Laura Robson

Jankovic,Groenefeld could still rise on Monday if Jankovic either Wins or at least reaches the Semis of Strasbourg and Groenfeld will most probably win Istanbul cuz Myskina is not so tough.

Ridiculous. Kim as #2 and 2-time finalist (including the 12-10 third set loss to Capriati) bumped to #9?
