Maybe Marti's due to give Lena a few consecutive spankings!

wow you sound a little bitter. the last time they played was a beatdown for sure but the times before that was when Martina was already struggling with injury and burnout just before stopping for 3 years. I like Lena a lot but I am thrilled that martina showed her a lesson on red clay today.

19. In the period from January to April 2006 Dr. Skalny sent very detailed messages to Ms Sharapova [...]: “Mildronate 1-2 X 10, repeat in 2 wks (before training or competition)”; “1 hr before competition, 2 pills of Mildronate”; “During games of special importance, you can increase your Mildronate dose to 3-4 pills (1 hr before the match). However, it is necessary to consult me on all these matters (please call)”; “30 minutes prior to a training session: Mildronat – 1 Capsule. 30-45 minutes prior to a tournament Mildronat 2 capsules”.

I'm not bitter, I just think the title of this thread is exagerated to say the least.
It's not like Hingis kicked Lena on the ground or something.

No.

ok, fair enough. title is a BIT harsh. but 3 and 2 is a pretty comprehensive loss. not a beatdown but a pretty clear victory.

Hingis played very well, counter-attacked superbly, but I was disappointed with Elena at the errors she made when up 0-30 or 0-40.

Good match Martina. Elena, you need to finish the point off better and take action to play more patient points if you want to succeed on clay.
