Question Vaidisova's schedule for 2006 - good or bad?

From her forum:

Rome
Strasbourg
French
Eastbourne
Wimby
Fed Cup in France
Stanford
San Diego
Montreal
US Open
Beijing
Zurich
Linz
Hasselt

----------------

Many people say she should stop playing a lot of Tier III tournaments, so is this a good schedule for her? She's scheduled to play a lot of the top events for the remainder of the yr.

I think she should play Moscow. It never really has a great field, though it does have good players, and she could get alot of points from a Tier 1.

fuck.

If she's going to Beijing, she might as well just play one of those Asian Tier III's tourneys. Yeah, she needs to stop playing many Tier III's, but taking advantage of her traveling schedule, playing in a familiar place, and getting some free points would be smart.

I think it's OK - it's about time for her to start playing some bigger tourneys. Although going to Beijing does seem weird (I know she did well last year but still...)

she's travelling to asia for one tourney and then back?

well, she sure has cut out a lot of tier 3/4s, which means less titles and more losses
