Players milking every drop out of their brainwashed fans' pockets

Clothes, perfumes, rackets, cameras, lipgloss, watches, fitness videos, mobile phones, video games and more...

I'm not sure which side I should feel sorry for:

- the players who shamelessly use their fans to sell anything they can to become richer and then thank to their fans because they "support her all the time" meaning they buy whatever stupid thing they sell.

or

- the brainwashed fans who pay $20 to buy a product that is made for 50c in China.

If it wouldn't affect their image I'm sure some of the players wouldn't mind auctioning their pee in bottles... it would sell well as a "collectors item"

Every road that leads to money is good.

The corporate world is going to get you one way or another, so it really doesn't matter if people choose to buy products endorsed by tennis stars. If the corporate world doesn't get you with one gimmick, they will get you with another.

It's the tricky issue of fame, dear. People want to BE you, photograph you, touch you. Why not cash in? Dying to spend their money to get what they perceive to be a piece of me. Hell, I'll take their money. Maybe they are getting a piece of me, at least in their minds.

I heard Def Leppard's "Photograph" on the radio a few days ago, says it all.

If one of Trump's racist domestic terrorist THUGS tries to stop you from voting, STAY in line, take their picture, call the police and call 1-866-OUR-VOTE. Spanish: 866-Ve-Y-Vota. Asian Languages: 866-API-Vote. Lawyers will be ready.

Is that why my clothes, jewelry, and autographs still go for hundreds of dollars on e-bay?

Well, if the fans keep buying that sh*t, then the players will keep selling it. Even Roger Federer has his own "cosmetics line", lol!

And it's so HORRIBLE that we, a free-thinking people, are FORCED to buy the "crap" that is put on store shelves, isn't it? I mean, whenever a "star" puts his/her name on a product, we are all COMPELLED to purchase that product.

It must be some kind of conpiracy . . . some sort of Commie plot.

I'm getting ready to pull the trusty credit card out right this minute to buy that "lip gloss" that Serena wants me to buy just so I can use it for other "lube" jobs. That way, it's like getting a 2 for 1 deal. Thanks so much for pointing that out to me. You're a real pal.

It's called advertising and capitalism. I didn't think these were new concepts...
