Jelena Jankovic

I am just wondering how Jelena still manages to be ranked in the top 30 after I don't know how many losses.

Can someone tell me when they think the points will come off and she will see a big slip? Right now this looks like the position Dokic was in when she had just enough points to keep her in the twenties for awhile.... hopefully Jankovic can make the turnaround.

She's defending a Tier 1 SF this week.

She reached the final of Birmingham and Seoul last year. She was also 1/2 finalist in Berlin and reached 1/4 of Stanford and Cincinnati. So next week, her ranking will go down if she don't do well in Berlin this week.

Go Jelena you can do it

Jankovic has played close to 30 events in the rolling 52-week calendar.

So even though she has TEN consecutive 1st round losses, none of them count in her ranking, because of the "Best 17" rule.

Yay! An easy draw! Just like the Australian Open, Doha, Indian Wells, Miami, Amelia Island, and Charleston!

She doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the top 50.
