Serena returning at Eastbourne......?

Does anyone else think this would be a good idea?

I think Serena should get hard at work to get fit, and if shes in decent shape in like, 6 weeks, play at Eastbourne the week before Wimbledon and get a couple of matches in. Even if she got to play only 2 or 3 matches theyre, I think it would put her in a great position to do well at Wimbledon. Clay is over for her until 2007.

No.

Serena hasn't said a word and their is
no need to assume anything.

As far as I'm concerned, she'll
play Berlin & Rome. Then RG.

Until word comes of any withdrawls,
she's playing what's next on her schedule.

I agree. The Williams seem to think its not necessary to play a warm up before Wimbledon. Whens the last time they did anyway?

I thought it had been confirmed that serena was missing tournaments all the way through and including wimbledon. I saw a short blurb on the ESPN scroll thing saying that Serena was going to msis the French and Wimbledon. I'm hoping it's not true.

RIDE OR DIE! Down for Venus Williams
