WOW she was really cooking with gas in that last set! hardly lost a point! only 3 dfs too ,most likely ,knowing Lena ,all in one game...

Great stuff ,pleased to have a nice start for once sans drama ,and sorry Perebiynis ,but you know it had to happen ,I cant put it off any longer ,great try and bad luck but I am afraid YOU HAVE BEEN DEMENTINATED , well and truly as it happened ,now I will sit back and wait for the whining and complaining from peeps who hate me saying that!

It was expected. The last 2 days Tanya has had 3 long (2hour+ each) matches, she must be exhausted. Ran out of gas I assume. Doubt Elena had to do much to steamroll over her. Oh well.

ETA: Also congrats to Tanya for a great week

Of course ELens cant win a match by simply being better than her oppo could she ,the other one HAD to be worn out .. Lena was much much to strong for her ,thats why sehs ranked 9 and the other is ranked 230 something..

Yeah, plus Tati has a doubles match to play today as well.

Still another good performance by Tati, she'll be back inside the top 100 in no time.

Of course Elena is better. I was just saying Tanya was obviously tired from all her matches. And Tatiana is a top 100 player, she is only that low because she is coming off a year long illness in 2005 which she spent half the year sidelined over and thus her ranking plummitted.

Tanya would usually put up a bigger fight than this, but Elena was always expected to win. That is all I said, that she must've been tired.

WEll fair enough ,I just get tired afterr every win lena has it being cos the other was tired etc ,perhaps she was ,but Elena RARELY gets credit for playing well ,sure she servs crap ,sure she has a bad record in Finals ,sure she can play totally shit at times ,but she DIDNT get to where she is by being totally crap ,she didnt make 2 Gs finals by being shit and hasnt been in the top ten for many years by being a hopless player ,at times ,shes very hard to beat ,sometimes she isnt but today ,she wasnt giving anything away.

I never said Elena was a crap player incapable of winning matches so don't talk to me like I had, thanks.
