Will Venus win the French?

What do you think? It's a public poll.

We can say nothing about a player who has just played a unique tourney and lost in the 1rst round..But in shape she surely can,I think

Venus is not as bad on clay as some people make it out to be, maybe should could have won last year if not from that girl cheating, but we will never know. I think if she gets into good shape she has a slight chance, but my picks are.

1. Justin
2. Kim
3. Lena D
4. Hingis
5. Patty
6. Serena
7. Momo
8. Venus
9. Maria S.
10. Petrova

Venus is pretty good on the clay, has won many titles on clay and has reached the finals of the French once and quarters on three other occasions.

The only trouble is the key to winning on clay is consistency which is not Venus's strong suit, especially if she is not match tough going into the clay court season.

Мари́я Ю́рьевна Шара́пова , Јелена Јанковић, Venus Williams.

They say one shold never say never. But I will say never. But does it actually matter? Surprisingly there are people I know who haven't heard of Justine who has won it twice, but sure know who Venus is!

I'm a huge Venus fan, and I think she can, but if I'm being realistic, I don't think she will. Hopefully she will surprise me one day.

I'd like to imagine that in order to beat me a person would have to play almost perfect tennis. - Venus Williams

Venus is good on clay, but she sucks at Roland Garros. However, I doubt if she'll have a third consecutive fluke loss at the tournament.

Not the way this year is going...she has ONE official tour match, which she lost. But, if Mary can do it, Venus surely can.
