Perry wins her 7th straight match...def. Frazier: 7-6(1) 6-3

Can someone really explain this improvement from Shenay for me?
Just two weeks ago she lost to Amy Frazier 7-6 in the third, just two weeks ago she was No. 134 in the world. Now she's beating Amy, got a 7 match win-streak and is up to No. 83!

NEXT TARGET: Ana Ivanovic!

Shenay does appear to be hitting her best form in a long while. It's really nice to see her playing so well. Too bad for Amy though.

If god loved a trier, Frazier would be no.1 with 30 GSs by now.

New coach?
New game plan?
Maybe she realized the strategy she had been using so far has not worked, she decide to take a new approach.

Don't really know. We will know for sure when this goes beyond 1 or tournaments.

Disappointed for Amy, but Shenay was serving great today, and Amy wasn't.

Shenay started to breakthrough into the top 100 a couple of years ago but has been plagued with injury since then. She's had a bit of a clear run injury wise of late and definitely has the serve and forehand to break the top 50 if she gets a clear run at things for a while.

She is just in good form, as she was about a year ago. That;s really impressive. Go Shenay!
