ive never had a rally last longing than 50 strokes. ever. and that was a bitchfest! (i almost colllapst!)
probably why ill never go pro!
Yeah, I've had like 20+, but definitely not even 50 I don't think
Anyway, I have two great matches in mind, both of which I either lost or didn't finish
One was against my friend a couple summers ago. I was down 1-6 1-5, and then I came all the way back and won 11 games in a row to lead 1-6 7-5 5-1, and then I choked and lost in the third set tiebreak 1-6 7-5 6-7
Another match was recently against my cousin, and I won the first set after playing really badly, and I won 7-6. Then the second set, I continued to play badly, but now my cousin could actually take advantage of my mistakes, and I lost 4-6, and in the third, I was leading 3-1 and it got too dark to play
So the match ended at 7-6 4-6 3-1
But really, choking has been the story of my life
Don't get me wrong, I've won matches, but none of them have been close by any means. It's either I blow someone out, I get blown out, or I choke a close one
Just last week while we were playing against another school, it was an 8-game pro-set, and I was leading throughout the whole set, up to 6-5, and I ended up losing the next 3 games (and consequently the match) after choking away a game point to go up 7-5 hitting an overhead long
