Yeah, and she still lost that match. Didn't Schultz-McCartthy once ace Martina Hingis stacks at the AO one year? Also, it would probably be a match with Davenport, and the Williams'. I think in 2001 Miami final, Venus and Jennifer aced each other about 20 times each. Stacks of aces in that match.

As far as I know Brenda Schultz McCarthy still holds the record. She served 22 aces when beating Iva Majoli 6-4 5-7 6-0 in the Edgbaston quarter finals a few years ago.

Venus also served about 15 aces against Lisa Raymond in the AO 04 and she lost. And that was only two sets.

Serena: Queen of the odd in OZ.

Venus: Please follow suit and win Wimbledon again.

Shaughnessy did the same last year, serving 22 aces against Nicole Vaidišová in Memphis Semis. Match was just two sets.

I know in one tournament I played about four years ago (I was 14), I had 31 aces against my opponent. Does that count?

Serena Williams
Martina Navratilova
Steffi Graf

Yes, she did have an injury. But Monica also had a fever, and was feeling dizzy, so no excuse for Venus.
