Jerry goes out with a deaf lineswoman who George uses to lip read his ex-girlfriend's conversations. Kramer claims she doesn't know how to sign properly. Elaine pretends to be deaf to avoid talking to the hire care driver but gets caught hearing when Tom Hanks is the next passenger. Then Elaine gets him tickets to a rock concert because she feels bad and he goes deaf because he was right next the amp. Then the deaf lineswomen gets picked up to go the tennis and says she's deaf to the same driver and he goes insane and the eposide ends

The Monica has nothing to do with Monica aside from the fact that it was an exciting tournament and Kramer ruined it by being such a cluts.

Great show. I can't believe I haven't seen this episode, though. I thought I'd seen almost all of them.

I thought it was funny and I'm still a big Monica Seles fan. She was probably laughing too. Lighten up. It's NOT about the stabbing. It's about the US Open 1995. Big difference.

i loved the show and still think it was one of the best shows on t.v of all time. But I also thought it was cheap to burn another nation's flag for the sake of of laugh. But seeing it was kramer who did it, i can laugh again

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.

I love it when people judge others by what tv show they enjoy.

I enjoy both friends and Seinfeld, but have to confess that friends is, in my opinion, much funnier.

Seinfeld does tend to be cleverer, but clever does not always equal funny.

i don't really judge most people by such narrow standards - just the people who take are aggressive towards me about it.

on the friends versus seinfeld i'm of the opinion that if you watched one episode of each you could easily think friends was much funnier - but to me watching a lot of each series really exposes friends as a pretty formulated show that gets a bit tired after i while.

each to their own though (except for godominque - you're a tool )
