omg!wow...im sure Kim needs this rest and a tight loss like this wont harm her French perparation

Anna Smashnova has now beaten the holy trinity in Jelena, Kim and JuJu all recently and two of the three wins being on clay....im sure that whoever draws her at Roland Garros wont be to pleased

congrats to Anna..it takes alot with such a gritty and tentative style to overcome a big hitter

Good luck to the Aussie and Balkan girls!

Another big win for Anna Smashnova!
(This year she has more Top 10 wins than Justine)

I'm not sure if this means much but last year, after winning Stanford and also after Leipzig, Kim went on to lose her next match (to Sugiyama at San Diego and to Huber at Filderstadt). Kinda strange, that is.

I browse once in a while.

hmm, then Kim had better not win Rome.

congrats to anna.
I'm sorry to see Kim lose early after such a great win last week.
seems like it must have been a tight match, from the scoreline anyway.

so it is Don't go in Rome Kimmy?

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

I noticed that pattern too btw so maybe we should set up a Kim Clijsters Rome booing thread? It could work wonders.

Wow, congrats Anna, her career's really taken off this year. Three top 10 wins and two titles - that's some going. Go Anna!
