Is it definite that Marti is not playing the french?!?!

Has it been confirmed that martina has pulled out of the French Open and having surgery?!?

If it is, could someone please provide me with a link to an article about it?!?!

martinafan: I don't think you'll be needing those 'heart attack' pills just yet!

The poster who started the thread said they saw it on the BBC website that she'd pulled out, but they never ran such a story, only that she was forced to pull out of Berlin.

If Martina does have surgery (which IS possible according to reports from Switzerland), then there's NO WAY she'll be in Paris as a competitor.

So nothing is definite at the moment. I guess it's for Martina to weigh up if she feels she can play with the injury, how well she feels she can play (if she can play). We may hear something by the end of this week.
