8 year old girl makes tennis history

Check out this article.

8 Year Old Makes Tennis History

On 1/ 13/ 05, Alexus “ACE” Jones, will make history as the youngest ever to host an ATP tennis event. I should say co-host. It was an early fall day in September. Up at dawn, little Alexus “ACE” Jones arose as she has every morning for the past 4 years to begin her first 2 hours of school work before starting tennis practice. Because of Alexus’ training and tournament schedule she is home schooled. With the individual attention of home schooling, not only has she tested genius on her last IQ test but she speaks Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish. But Alexus’s heart and talent is in tennis. She has been a very busy little girl. Not only has she already trained with and has been coached by some of the worlds greatest tennis coaches. Nick Bollettieri , Richard Williams, Vic Braden, Rick Macci, Andrei Kozlov, Lex Carrington, Steve Smith and Luke Wickham. She has the number one website in it’s category on AOL, MSN, YAHOO and Google where she receives thousands of pieces of fan email daily. And now at just 8 years old she has won and is competing in the USTA Florida G14’s age group which is more the 2200 strong. In just 2 tournaments she rocketed ahead of 1500 girls to the ranking of 550 in the state. At just 8 years old. This is why she is being called “The next Williams Sista “ By Dave Reinberg ad Dave Rempel the hitting Coaches for Venus and Serena Williams for 7 years. (He who also wrote the book entitled the same.)
Quite a bright looking future ahead I think. Since this was not done by any of the current top WTA players i.e.. The Williams Sisters, Maria Sharapova Lindsey Davenport etc. Now you would think this would be enough for this 8 year old Tennis Samurai right? Well you would be wrong.

This little girl is now becoming the youngest ever to host an
ATP Professional tennis event. How is that possible you ask?
Because this kid doesn’t know the meaning of “can’t”. Her father D.D. Jones says in September she was asking why so many ITF Junior events in the USA were named after Chanda Rubin, one of her tennis heros. He explains that she was very intelligent, hard working, and as a result, she has been able to host her own Junior Tennis Tournaments. She made up her mind then that she also wanted to host her own tournament. Mr. Jones told her to keep working hard and having the outstanding results you already enjoy and some day you can do the same as Chanda Rubin. Her next response was “But why do I have to wait?” Her father explained, “Because that is something that children can’t do.” Well there’s that word can’t. Alexus has been brought up without that word in her vocabulary. Alexus took that statement as a challenge and went about finding out how it all works. Alexus contacted her first Coach Luke Wickhum, who is the Director of Tennis at the World-renowned Vic Braden’s Tennis College at Star Island resort in Kissimmee, Florida (4 miles from the main gate at Disney World Orlando)
www.vicbradenstenniscollege.com
Because not only has Luke been the trusted advisor to Team Jones from the beginning but also she knew that he hosted an ATP event every year at Star Island, The Star Island Tennis Classic. Now when she was speaking to her mentor he explained some of the difficulties he had experienced. One being that his tournament had become so large, that he was short on courts. Alexus mentioned that her Dad now runs a five star Tennis resort in Orlando at a resort called Vistana and that the courts are available. A match made in heaven. Now they are proud to announce that The Star Island Tennis Classic. Will be Co-hosted by Luke Wickham and 8 year old Alexus “ACE’ Jones.

Crash and burn. 8 Year olds shouldn't be homeschooled, they're missing the time in most kid's lives where they learn to socialize.

As far as we know she might not even like tennis

She is more overhyped than Vaidisova, Sharapova, and Ivanovic combined. And that's saying something.

If she is a genius her mind should be interlectually stimulated.
two hours a day of physical activity would me more than enough for her.
Hitting a tennis ball for ever would certainly be a waste of time if she is a genius.
But the essentially important question to ask really is what does she really want?
If she is a genius I hope she has lots of variety in her life.
I also hope she has some friends her own age.
I hope this is not a hype job with some truth to it.
It might be a way of making money ala Barnem and Bailey with his freak show.
Sorry for being so skeptical but something just does not ring alltogether true hier.

This is not new some people here have seen her. But I thought it was a cool article so I posted it. And I went to this website and saw the pictures of her checking in players.

I just love how you make it seem like you're just a regular WTAworld poster who randomly found her website and wanted to share it with us. You do know that all of your previous posts are listed for the entire board to read and every single one is about Alexus? Give it up Pops. Admit you're trying get paid and little Alexus is your meal ticket.
