Question Maria Sharapova to reach another semi?

She has reached semis or better in 4 out of the last 6 slams. I cannot see anyone, except Justine, stopping her from making another semi. Hopefully she doesn't draw Henin-Hardenne in the quarters. Hopefully her consistency in slams continue.

there's no form to say how she will go. If she's partly injured she is susceptible to anyone IMO as Kirilenko and Groenfeld demonstrated late last year.

I think it all depends on her injuries. If she is not injured, she will reach the semis unless she draws someone like Justine or Venus in the earlier rounds. Anyone else she should be able to handle.

hunger, desire, fire..........
stength, power, precision.........
talent, court sense, smartness........
no i am not talking about a racket or a squirrel, i am talking about the former and future number 1..............
martina hingis!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck Justine Henin Hardenne, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova, Mary Pierce, and any of my other favorites that I might have forgotten about at this moment.

The truth! With the top players get back to good form, and getting stronger and stronger as the year goes on - she'll need more than just an easy draw to win a slam. She'll need a Miracle!

Off the top of my head, Justine, Kim and Venus can stop her - on any surface.

Amelie can stop her on Clay and grass, possibly hardcourts too, Myskina at her good level can stop her, and so can Svetlana if she can find her aggressive non erratic game back.

Her one dimensional - rejoyce at every lob/drop shot game needs serious work if she'll be hold a slam anytime soon.

I dont be very surprised if she again reach all GS semis (not only AO) in 2006.

and I'm not even fan of Ana Ivanovic... just an objective observer who realize how perfect she is

AMAZING BELGRADE MIRACLE: In just three years (2008-2011) 5 different players born in same city reach world #1 in rankings and several GS titles and finals (WTA singles: Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic, ATP singles: Novak Djokovic, ATP doubles: Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor... with notable performances of Bojana Jovanovski, Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki which is also all three born in Belgrade)
