Unhappy The walking wounded

After an exhausting,gut-wrenching,,much drawn-out two weeks of the season, here's the list of players carrying injuries:

Marion Bartoli
Lucie Safarova
Nadia Petrova
Martina Hingis
Venus Williams
Serena Williams
Maria Sharapova
Dinara Safina
Kveta Peschke
Elena Bovina
Eleni Danillidou
Anna-Lena Groenefeld
Kim Clijsters ??
Katarina Srebotnik
Gisela Dulko

Methinks the WTA has a problem

Any more?

Breaking news: Dani Hantuchova added to list.Pathetic start to the season.

I started this thread 10 minutes ago,and already three more players have fallen by the wayside

At this rate I might as well wear a wig,get some fake boobs, and play on the tour.
They won't have any players left by the AO!!

Such a sad pathetic start to the year.

Both the WTA & ATP need to shorten the season!

TURN YOURSELF AROUND, YOU WEREN'T INVITED!!!

(1/20/17) Just discovered this gem in my private messages from 2006:
Who is Rtael?
This guy Rtael ,brainless and ignorant, is one of the most obnoxious, arrogant and coward guys whos has been a pest in this forum for years now.Given the new anti-bully policy he'll probably be expelled soon. Observe how he tries to rally and gang others against you. Mean people like him shouldn't be allowed here. And all because he "doesn't like your attitude"!!
**Everyone should consider themselves warned!**

What a joke! Is this just bad luck or what!

They can't even say this is cos of too much play and long season, cos season just started.

Look's like HINGIS might win AO now! lol

I would love to blame the WTA for that but when the players chooses to play Exhibition events or some clubs matches during the off-season you can't really blame them. The players must learn take it easy, especially at the end&start of the season. + use the off-season to let their bodies rest.

This is not a WTA fault. There WAS an off-season, but if players choose to play exhibitions or just don't prepare good enough (Clijsters) for the new season then that's their own fault or in other cases just bad luck

You know, the good thing for the WTA to do, is to shorten the season...

But i wouldn't really want that...
