Who has the best serve? Anna or Martina

Both of their serve are pretty weak but who has the best one?

1st serve, I think Anna! She can hit more aces with her first serve than Martina. She can hit it around 100MPH.

2nd serve, both of them are equal. They both have shitty second serve(I'm sorry but it's true!). Martina has the edge because she makes less double faults but it's usually a sitting duck!

What do you think?

Definitely Anna
Hingis' serve is too weak, but well placed tough

Definitely Martina. Great placement; slightly fewer aces, but WAY fewer DFs. And her serve doesn't go to the dogs on the most important points of the match.

Martina also wins more points on her 2nd serve than Anna, though neither one is good at that.

Yeah I would say Anna overall. She can hit her first serve pretty big - 170kmh. But it is just so inconsistent. Lets face it if Anna could get a reliable, hard serve she would be a better player 100%.

Don't even get me started on Hingis - it had got a lot better, but she seems to have reverted to the 70mph first serves again!

Anna has the harder serve, its just way to inconsistant and predictable.

Do you people realize Martina didn't double-fault in her 6 singles matches at 2000 USopen ? That's very amazing consistency. She might not have huge serve like Williams sisters, but comparing her serve to Anna' is an insult to her. ( Anna could DF 30 times in a match)

Her first serve can reach 100mph with good placement, slice or spin. Not too shabby.

Anna served 30 doubles in a match in 1999 and people still talk about it

She doesn't double-fault that much anymore! Maybe Hingis doesn't double-fault but her second serve is a real sitting duck!!!
