Hopman Cup final: (4) USA defeats (Q) Netherlands 2-1

LS: Misa Krajicek (NED) d. Lisa Raymond (USA) 6-4 7-6(4),
overcoming 4 SP at 5-6 second set!
MS: Taylor Dent (USA) d. Peter Wessels (NED) 6-1 6-4
MD: Dent/Raymond (USA) d. Wessels/Krajicek (NED) 4-6 6-2 7-6 (10-7)

I thought Misa would beat Lisa and she did luckily, also expected Taylor to beat Peter... so it came down to a deciding mixed doubles... I thought they'd play a normal deciding set but it was a match tie-breaker...
Well, good work from both Dutchies and Krajicek will have good year if she continous playing well !!!!

I think it all depends on peter wessels, misa's gonna beat lisa(she's already won the first set).
If peter can't beat taylor(which he probably can't) USA will trash them in mixed especially with lisa's volley skills I don't see the dutch winning, but I'm still hoping they do

U.S. 2-1

The woods are hopeless. Don't waste your time, they will be destroyed. So will the marsh. It is a losing game mankind has played for more than a century. Sadness is what you are, do not deny it. The universe is a lonely place, a painful place. This is what we can share between us, period.

Taylor will win the Mens Singles, and I think USA will be too strong in the mixed.

Well, Misa and Peter could be causing trouble as they noth have big serves... Dent has a big serve too but Lisa could be the weak link when it comes to winning service games... Lisa does have great network though but with Netherlands winning their service games with their serves the pressure is on the USA especially since they are considered favorites.
