I have learned never to doubt Miss Serena Williams, because I did not think in a million years that she would have beaten 3 of the world's top 4 to win the Australian Open. With that being said, she needs to take her career more seriously. She showed up at Rome injured, and wasn't even into the match. It looked like she didn't even want to be there. She took like a month off again, then she showed up at Wimbledon with only a weeks' practice. Once again, she was foolish and pig-headed and thought that she could win tennis' biggest tournament out of shape physically and mentally. She took more weeks off during the summer and went to Toronto, played a three-set match with Aloro!, then pulled out because she was injured was again. As soon as the knee got better, she was at the US Open. This time, however, it wasn't the knee that was causing her trouble: It was her big thighs. During that whole tournament, she was screaming when she hit shots, was barely moving, and actually thought that she had a chance against Venus Williams. It looked like she was there to please fans. She did even worse in Beijing, making a fool of herself.
Now she's gonna show up at the Australian Open thinking that she could win it, when in reality, she's just too unfit. Her peak game was based around power, serving, and moving. She barely has any power now because at the Australian Open last year she added a lot of topspin to her shots (now they float). Her movement is pathetic (horrible footwork, can't run for her life), and her serve isn't anywhere near it was in even 2004.
