Goven new coach of dechy

he will be new coach of dechy for the moment!

Sacre bleu, mon Placid Parisian! This mediocrity was your coach for most of the past 3 years. Even Low-eek would be an improvement, Foolish Femme!

I thought the FC captain couldn't be the coach of one of his players.

Sorry to say this but very stupid move, Nathalie! Did she have a fallout with Sven?

They split their partnership by mutual agreement, until she hires a new coach, the French federation allows her to work with the fed cup's team's captain.

Georges is the answer to a neat little tennis trivia question, BTW. The late, great Pancho Gonzalez was the oldest singlestitle winner of the Open Era (@ 43 years and 9 months in about 1972, somewhere in the US; I forgot the city). Goven (then 24) was the guy he beat in the final.

It's kind of weird, she made good progress with Sven, more than she ever has with her old coach. I think it could be the case of relationship problems (I hear Sven is quite special) rather than lack of results.
