Ipek Senoglu interwiev (From Sharapova to USA )

Ipek Senoglu interviewed in a newspaper in Turkey and asked every question.

Q : How did u start tennis ?

A : I started playing tennis when i was 4-5. My bro and dad were playing and i wanted to bother them so i was running in the court with a racket to stop their game

Q : Did you forecast that you would reach that position ?

A : This position is not the position where i wanted to reach. Firstly, i wanted to play in a Grandslam and succeeded it. Then i put other objectives. Now i am planning to play in SF or F in Grandslam and wants Turkish people to wake uo at night ( 4 o'clock) and watch me .

Q : We know that you educated in USA. What is the differences between USA and Turkey about the view of Sport ?

A : USA makes a lot of investment to sport. So they have a lot of players. Originally, thereis no diference. I mean The dont have more ability.

Q : Do u get some inviations from abroad ?

A : Yes. This year an Ameican club invited me to play there. I havesome problems with money. So i decided to accept. But then Turkish prime ministery promised me to find a sponsor. So if they do, i will stay here.

Q :Whu didnt u play in USA more years ?

A: I reached no 1 in USA universities, they wanted me to be USA citizen and leave Turkish citizenship. But i didnt accept this. Since I want to help Turk players. Now Pemra and Çağla are coming after me. They have to get nore support btw.

Q: You now that People see women players as a sex obje. For example Maria Sharapova's pictures are everywhere.

A : We should ask this to the nesapapers, TVs, etc.

Q : Are u sad for that ?

A : Sharapova made better agreement than other good players with Nike due to her physical position. This is done by the brands. Both being successfull and Being a brand. Steffi Grafis a brand with everything. Sharapova is also a brand but i dont think she is champion and she never has a championship character.

Q : Is tennis a rich sport ?

A : Now in Turkey, itis yes. But in the world some por people also play tennis. I played in India. I saw people who cannot afforf for meal, but plays tennis. Thay have a lot of courts.

i love her goal

thanks god she didn´t accepted to become Amercian citizenship

Something was bound to go right sometime today, All these broken pieces fit together to make a perfect picture of us
It got cold and then dark so suddenly and rained, It rained so hard the two of us were the only thing
That we could see for miles and miles
And in the middle of the flood I felt my worth, When you held onto me like I was your little life raft
Please know that you were mine as well
Drops of water hit the ground like God's own tears
And spread out into shapes like Salad bowls and basins and buckets for bailing out the flood

i don´t like it when people change her citizenship
and i like it when players represent different countries and it would be nice if Turkey could have a top200 or even top100 player

no offense to the #1 player in USA unversities , but Maria - non-champion - is a bigger champion that you ever will.

yeah the first time I read this I was like...huh? Why say such things about Maria? Who is she to begin with? I think what she said was really uncalled for...oh well...

She talked about Maria since the interviewer asked about it.
