I would not like to bet on who would come out of that quarter, It could be any of Williams, Amy, Krajicek Dokic or Likhovtseva

Yeah, but anyone could have a bad day. Venus is playing some of the best tennis out there right now, and is one of the favorites for the title. She has been playing well since Wimbledon, and just beat Serena in an exhibition in straight sets a short while ago. If she loses, it will be to someone like Davenport, Clijsters, etc.

SHUT UP!! Did you even watch Wimbledon? Or did you stop watching after RG? My god, Venus is playing top tier tennis at the moment. I wouldn't doubt seeing her with the big trophy after the fortnight.

Actually I dont think its that bad for her. Shes had Venus, Clijsters Sharapova in recent 3rd round matches, so an off Kuzzy might not be that bad, unless shes healthy again.

NICOLE VAIDISOVA

Dokic - Hantuchova - Zakopalova - Minella - Szavay - Bammer - Safarova
Stanciute - Panova - Gubacsi - Cibulkova - Cirstea - Hofmanova - Cetkovska

Your right, but then there would be Sharapova in the round of 16, but hey, Dani has gone round 3 past 6 grand slams so it would be a nice change

Yeah I just hope she can get to the 4th round, and at a grand slam where only fit players succeed. Its tough weather in Melbourne so it would be great for Dani to win a 3rd round match.

Calm down. He wasn't dissing Williams. Venus has played one match since the U.S. Open and will only play Exho's before Australia. Considering all that, saying the likes of that a rising star, a tough veteran and a returning top 5 player might be able to beat her isn't blasphemy.
