Comebacks Take Time and Patience

I hope everyone here [and Martina as well] realizes that Martina's comeback will take time and patience. There'll be tough losses at first and time for her to adjust to the new pace of the game. Sports get tougher all the time. The bar is raised a little higher every year. So while I am sure she can do it if she is truly determined, I don't think it'll happen overnight.

Any thoughts on how long it will take for her to win...

Her first title?
Her first Tier 1?
Her first Slam?

Мари́я Ю́рьевна Шара́пова , Јелена Јанковић, Venus Williams.

I so agree it's not even funny. I'm sure she'll have her bad losses but if she persists, she will come back to top form...it's in her fate. She was made to be the top, no question. I hope she peaks somewhere around the French Open, if she were to win that daym thing, I think a big weight will be lifted off her shoulders...by then it's not hard to say she could make a run with it, going into her 97 mode?! LOL Well, I can only hope and pray, try her best and forget the rest!

Martina Hingis 4ever!!!

Now and forever, I'll remember.

I agree, but I wouldn't have a clue about when Martina would be able to win her first title/Tier I/Slam again (IF she'd win any ). If she plays in Gold Coast, I see her having a chance to already win there. Otherwise I can see her winning a smaller tournament after the AO (depending on her schedule of course). To have a chance of winning a Tier I or a Grand Slam, she'll have to at least be able to reach top-10 form again, probably top-5 form, and it remains to be seen if she'll be able to do that... I truely hope so, but I think there's no possible way to give any clue about that at this point. Go Martina!!!
