Martina and Martina - doubles 2006

I saw on another thread (although right now it looks like speculation) that Martina N has already asked Martina H to play some events w/ her in 2006. I for one would LOVE to see the two of them win slams and generate some more excitement for dubs!

I can see this happening, 2 legends playing together would be great for the game!

I'd love to see them play a couple of events together but doubt very much if they'd make a winning combo at slam level. 10 years ago, maybe, but not now.

Do you mean that German article? That didn't look so reliable.

It mentioned that she was starting at the Gold Coast, which no other article has mentioned, and no other article has mentioned any doubles at all. This one stated that she had been asked by Martina N and Martina H had accepted. Sounded a bit "I heard from a friend of a friend".

Take. Pinch. Salt.

The fruit series is suspended whilst Grachka (obatafan) mourns Saori's retirement.

yeah - it was the german article.
Regarding the 10 years ago: I don't agree. Martina N is in the top 10 now for dubs.
Martina H was in the top 5 of dubs when she left the game - and still has great hands.
I think they could do some damage...

I hope the Martina's team up to play some doubles in 2006. That would be great!
