WTA Antwerp - Already a great line-up for a Tier-II

Pretty impressive stuff

CONFIRMED
* Kim Clijsters
* Amélie Mauresmo
* Venus Williams
* Serena Williams
* Nadia Petrova

WILD CARDS
* Michaella Krajicek
* Kirsten Flipkens

NOT YET OFFICIAL
* Ana Ivanovic
* Karolina Sprem

If Venus wins the tournament she'll win it for the third time in five years, which means she'll be the owner of the diamond racket. But I'm quite curious what will happen if she'll have to play her sister in the final. Diamonds are a girls best friend aren't they?

Antwerp has every right to become a Tier I, considering it's got one of the strongest fields of all non-Grand Slam events every year.

CHARDY | CHIUDINELLI | CIPOLLA

Hlavackova|Ilhan|Kohli|Kuznetsov|Lammer|Mannarino| Menendez|Phau|Polansky

you can add in safina for sure.

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.

It always has a good line-up!

I am sensing a Clijsters vs Venus final! One would want to win in front of her home fans, one would want to win the diamonds. It should, if it happens, be a very interesting match!

Sprem also will come, though not officially communicated. She has put Antwerp on her calender at her website

Hopefully she can get back to her old form and reach the semi-finals as she did in 2004.

Serena will take out some of the opposition, then surender tamely to big sis, so that the racquet can go into the family bank vault.
