I would have to say: Nadia def. Silvia 46 76 76- in over 3 hours at the US Open '04

Or that first set against Maria at Aus Open '05 64 to Silvia.

Hi.

Strabourg '01 Final : Farina Elia d. Anke Huber 7-5 0-6 6-4

Good match, plus Silvia looked elated and relieved to have finally won a tournament.

Farina-Elia def. Rubin at Wimbledon 2003 in R3

I was jumping out and in throughout the match! It was amazing match I kept telling myself that Rubin could pulled her infamous comeback when she was trailing 2-5 or 3-5 in the decider final but Farina-Elia prevent this!

Inspiration is for amateurs

Faves: Mona Barthel / Samantha Stosur / Roberta Vinci

Well, she's looking good in the 2003 Strasbourg taped final against K-lina although I'd have to say I'm probably happiest for her 2001 Strasbourg win against Anke which gave Silvia her first title.

Another is her run in 2004 Rome where she lost narrowly to Amelie 7-5 in the third in the quarters. So close to a major title in her home tourney.

And still another is her fourth round appearance at the 2002 US Open which I got to witness.

And how about this impressive run on grass in 2003!

Eastbourne June 22 2003
1 S Farina Elia - C Fernandez 6-2 6-1
2 S Farina Elia - L Davenport-WC(1)6-4 3-6 7-6(3)
QF S Farina Elia - M Maleeva(8) 5-7 6-4 6-4
SF C Martinez - S Farina Elia 6-2 6-4

Wimbledon July 6 2003
1 S Farina Elia(27) - M Sanchez Lorenzo 6-4 6-2
2 S Farina Elia(27) - M Drake-Q 7-6(3) 6-1
3 S Farina Elia(27) - C Rubin(7) 7-6(6) 6-3
4 S Farina Elia(27) - P Suarez 7-5 7-6(3)
QF K Clijsters(2) - S Farina Elia(27)5-7 6-0 6-1
