Where has RUXANDRA DRAGOMIR gone ? She is still ranked #92...

She has not played in many months and she is still ranked #92 this week in Doubles.
Does anyone know if she is injured ?

Thanks

Thats what i am thinking. But it does not make sense to retire when you have gottin your doubles ranking back up into the top 100

In an interview last year she said that she wanted to spend more time with her child. I was suprised that she came back for a few matches this year. I doubt she was playing doubles for the ranking.

I've always liked Ruxandra. She's a great lady who had a game that could really get to some of the top players. Farewell Ruxi.

I doubt that aswell...its just that her Doubles Ranking could have gottin her into Wimbledon and the French Open among other tourneys. Could have been some nice money for her family. But I guess she has played enough and has enough $$$ stashed away
I always loved to watch her matches on clay...she could give the top players a hard fought match on any given day. She reminds me of Franny in that way.
We'll miss you ROXI !
