Well its clear that at the start of 2nd set there was no injury apparent in any of Maria S's play that was visible to anyone watching.. It was also clear that she was not looking like winning the match, but not due to an injury, but due to the simple fact that she was getting outplayed, which guess what, is a normal thing sometimes!
Yuri S and Maria S have to accept that losing is part of the game. Sometimes you will lose, and when you do, it is becasue your opponent is better than you in that peritcular match. If youre not up to your best, thats your own fault.
Anyone who watches this match and knows anything about Yuri S and Maria S, will know that losing to Kirilenko, another upcoming young Russian, was going to be to much to take, and would not look good for Sharapova. The fact is she could of played on with the match. This "injury" that Maria says "comes and goes" I would suggest "comes and goes" at very convienient times. We know that ther is now huge pressure on Maria S from alot of differnet places to live up to her name of the best young thing in tennis, and if at times she does not do that it looks like it is too much for her and her father to take.
BTW Shooter, you make good points.
